Wayne Zebzda multimedia sculptor and video artist. In the late 1970's he made art installations on the streets of San Francisco, using an assortment of common materials from live guard dogs to hot dogs, road flares, sound, video and public debris. Zebzda continues to create a variety of objects, installations and situations, both on the streets and in gallerys and museums.

...Zebzda’s work, then as now, is centered on three key themes or conceptual strategies. First, there is always a strand of social commentary, which may also include environmental or ecological concerns; second, the element of material of conceptual play serves both to convey serious or difficult ideas in a more accessible, even seductive way, and also often communicates a deep sense of delight in the face of the absurdities of life.
